What was the purpose of your taking the exam? |
We work with BizTalk server mapping and I recommended this exam to my team so performing in the exam was to set a precedent as I believe the skills we learn here add value to our developers. |
Did you have any experience with XML prior to taking the exam? |
Yes. |
How much time did you put into studying for the exam? |
4 months. |
Let us know about any books, seminars or other preparation tools you used to study for the exam. |
The xml masters website is a good place to start and XML Spy is a great tool to use to practice. But a must read is the XML in a Nutshell book. |
Please share any post-exam thoughts or advice for those who will be taking the exam. |
The first batch of questions was very XSLT centric and did not think I would finish on time. Brush up on those XSLT skills and keep your cool for about the first half hour of the exam.
As we software developers do I will continue to update my skills - next on my list is WCF and BizTalk server (I found XML master basic was a good place to start when working with XML based enterprise solutions) |
